Diane Chenault  > Birds > Snowy Owles
I went to Ottawa, Canada in the winter of '08 & '09 to photograph this most beautiful owl. These were very difficult pictures to take for a Florida girl in -20 degree weather with a big lens, heavy clothes & walking through deep snow, but I would do it again. These birds hang out on what are corn fields in the summer. Good hunting grounds for them. Unlike most owles they hunt during the day - thank goodness for that!
